Continue To Registry hacks Page :-- <<1>> < <2>> Add dos prompt command to context menu :-- Go to the following key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Classes\ Directory\. Here create a new key and name it msdos. Set the default value to DOS&Prompt. Now create a new key under msdos and it command. Set the default value to command.com /k %1. Remove recent documents list in start menu :-- If you do not use the recent document give in start menu just go ahead and remove it. Go to the following key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer Right-click on the right pane and select New, DWORD Value. Name it NoRecentDocsMenu. Double-click and enter 1 as value. To restore the Documents menu, just reverse the steps by changing 1 to 0 or just delete DWORD value. Remove the favorites from the start menu :-- To remove the favorites from the start menu. go to the following key. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer Right-click on the right pane and select New, DWORD Value and name it NoFavoritesMenu. Double-click and enter 1 as value. To restore the Favorites in the start menu, reverse the steps by changing 1 to 0 or by deleting the DWORD value. Remove the Find from the start menu :-- To remove the find files from the start menu. Go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer Right-click on the right pane and select New, DWORD Value and name it NoFind. Double-click and enter 1 as value. To restore the find, reverse the steps by changing 1 to 0 or delete DWORD value.
Remove the Log Off option in the start menu
:-- To remove the Log Off from the start menu. Go to
the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\
Policies\ Explorer Right-click on the right pane and select New, DWORD
value and name it NoLogOff. Double-click and enter 1 as value. To restore
the Log Off User option, reverse the steps by changing 1 to 0 or
just delete the DWORD value. Remove Run Command from the start menu :-- To stop other users from accessing the run command in the start menu. Go to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersion\ Policies\ Explorer . Right click and select new DWORD value and name it NoRun Double-click and enter 1 as value. To restore the Run command, reverse the steps by changing 1 to 0 Quick view for all files in context menu :-- Quick view is an useful tool, that is used to see the contents of a file with out starting the required application, but for some files are this tool is not available. To add quick view to context menu for all files. Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ *\. Under this key, add a new key named QuickView. Set the value of the Default value to * . Now you should be able to access quick view option for all file types.
Cascading control panel menu in the start menu
:-- To have a cascading control panel
in the start menu. Right click the Start button, and
select the Open command from the context menu. The Start Menu folder
window opens.
Create a new folder in the Start Menu window, and name it
Recover windows serial number
:-- Microsoft prints the Product key
on the box. But in case you have by mistake lost it , you won't be able to
install the windows again as it will ask for the CD key during
